Alison King has baby

Corrie’s sultry Carla better known as actress Alison King has given birth to her first child at 35.

Alison who plays Carla Connor the factory boss in Coronation Street gave birth earlier today to a little girl. Both Alison and her partner Adam Huckett are said to be delighted. Partner Adam met Alison on the set of Coronation Street and works in the sound department for the show.

A spokesman for Coronation Street said “The little girl weighed 6lbs 7oz.” Alison has now gone out of the soap to take her maternity leave, she’s said to be returning later in the year.
