Gary Barlow and wife Dawn mourn loss of baby Poppy

Singer Gary Barlow and his wife Dawn have announced the horrific news that their fourth child expected any day was delivered stillborn.

In speaking with the Daily Mail newspaper Gary said: "Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we’ve lost our baby. Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4th in London. Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We’d ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected".

Both Gary and Dawn have been together for 12 years. Gary announced his delight about expecting another girl on his twitter page. Saying: "My wife and I are expecting our 4th child #Anotherowngoal". How very sad indeed that this great news has turned into such sincere sadness.

This will obviously be terrible news for all the family as Gary and Dawn already have three children, two of which are probably old enough to know what has happened. Their children are Daniel, 11, and daughters Emily, 9 and Daisy who is 3.
