Lionel Richie is dancing on the ceiling after his daughter Nicole gave birth to a daughter.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on Friday in Los Angeles and apparently mother and daughter are doing just fine - Congratulations to you all.

She’s not alone either. “Beautiful” singer Christina Aguilera has welcomed a boy. The little man has been named Max. Now there’s a normal name by Hollywood standards.

Back home and Coronation Street actress Julia Haworth has announed that she and her husband are expecting their first baby. Julia plays Claire Peacock in the soap, set in fictional Weatherfield. She’s had her fair share of troubles on the cobbles most recently suffering from post natal depression following the birth of her soap son Freddie. Let’s hope all goes well for her in her real-life pregnancy.

Someone else yearning for the patter of tiny feet is actress Amanda Redman. The Sun newspaper is running an exclusive interview with the 49-year-old in which she claims she would love another child - despite her daughter being 20!
