Corrie’s Best Mum

Actress Kym Ryder has been crowned “Best Mum” in Tesco Magazine’s Celebrity Mum of the Year competition.

The 31-year-old is currently on our screens playing Michelle Connor in Coronation Street. In fictional Weatherfield, the barmaid has discovered her real son was mistakenly swapped at birth! They have been reunited but it’s putting strain on the relationship she has with the son she has raised.

Happily, in real life things are a lot easier and she is Mum to David and Emily.

Kym received her award from the Prime Minister’s wife Sarah Brown.
