Mel C wants ‘Mama’ role

Spice Girl Mel C says the girl band’s recent tour has given her the confidence to try for a child.

Female First reports the star as saying: “Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, ‘Yeah I could be a good mum.’

“I used to say giving them (the children) back was the best bit, but seriously all the girls are great mums… and they have given me the confidence to have a go.”

Melanie Chisolm is in a long standing relationship with Tom Starr. She is currently the only Spice Girl not to have children.

Mel B has daughters Phoenix Chi and Angel Iris, Victoria Beckham has three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, Geri Halliwell is Mum to daughter Bluebell Madonna and Emma Bunton gave birth a few months ago to son Beau.
