Christmas has been and gone!

Well as my dearly departed Nan used to say, “that’s it, Christmas is over for another year”.

At least I’ve waited for a few days to whisper those words - my Nan would arrive Christmas Day morning declaring it was all over for another 12 months.

I hope you all had a great time, ours was lovely but very quiet. The husband hasn’t been well all over Christmas and the daughter has been full of cold too. He has had it worst though to be fair, he’s still not right all these days on. I’ve been dispatched to the chemist with a long list of supplies.

He’s so miserable when he’s ill too - don’t get me wrong, I know it’s not a time to be jolly but he gets quite low and depressed - questions everything and all of life’s huge conundrums!

The daughter has had a lovely Christmas though and is delighted with the new bike which Father Christmas left her. She hasn’t been out on it yet as it’s been really icy - she has been ridng it around the living room instead! She also can’t go out as she doesn’t have a helmet that fits, we need to buy her another one - she must have a big head.

We are being told we are getting more snow today - I really must invest in a sledge although I probably shouldn’t join in when I’m only eight weeks away from giving birth.

That’s another worry - I don’t have everything in place for baby number two’s arrival and as much as I’m worried about that it’s not spurring me on to do anything!

I should tune in to our interview with Caroline on Wednesday 30th January at 2pm. She has great advice on what to buy and what would be a waste of money!!
