Due date coming up fast!

Well I’ve reached 36 weeks so hopefully not too long to go now! I feel massive so God help me if I go past my February due date.

A Mum at my daughter’s school very nicely said to me today “Oh you’re starting to wobble now”.

Yes, thank you very much - I’m actually aware of that but I don’t need anyone else to point out my weeble status. Even my maternity tops seem to be getting short on me which is really annoying! I hate it when you can see big belly flesh sticking out! I’m loathed to splash out on more maternity clothes with just 4 weeks to go.

I think we’ve got most things sorted out now. The spare bedroom looks a bit more like a nursery although it’s not as pristine and perfect as the daughter’s was but  isn’t that what happens with subsequent babies?

The hormone rages against the husband have settled down slightly - he bought me a box of Milk Tray chocolates! He’s being sweet actually, tells me I’m beautiful which is lovely because I certainly don’t feel it at times!

I went to the cinema with my friend on Wednesday and when we got back to her car I opened the door but I couldn’t get in! I honestly could not fit my bump through - another car had parked quite near to us! She had to reverse so I could just sort of flop in!

Also, the way I cry about everything is utterly ridiculous - Will Young’s Evergreen had me wailing the other day. It’s not even a particular favourite of mine!
