Strictly Come Dancing

We are addicted to Strictly Come Dancing in our house - even the daughter loves it! She swirls and turns around, she’s quite good - obviously she gets that from me! I can’t believe the natural rhythm my child has. I said to her on Saturday “OK, two choices - ballet or tap”. That was after I’d asked her if she wanted “to do the lift” y’ know, in the style of Dirty Dancing. I tell ya, Jennifer Grey eat your heart out. She was very good. Not that I’m going to be a pushy Mummy but I do fancy piano lessons!

Speaking of Strictly Come Dancing - journalist Eve Pollard is on the station on Friday. For those of you who don’t know she’s the Mum of Claudia Winkleman - she hosts a S.C.D spin off show on BBC 2. I’m going to ask her how she enjoys Christmas now she’s a Granny and what her tips are for a stress free time. She was actually born on Christmas Day so that must be a bit strange.

Lara Green from Babyworld.co.uk has also been chatting to us this week about products you may need if you’re expecting twins. She fails to mention the obvious one - an extra pair of hands. How do parents of twins cope? I found it difficult enough when I only had the daughter.  I suppose you don’t know any different and ignorance is bliss!!!!!!!!!
