Breastfeeding week (May 2008)

Breastfeeding week this year was on from the 11th to the 17th of May. So, we invited on our resident breastfeeding expert Sharon Trotter who’s an independent midwife, author and mother.

In this interview she tells us about the pitfalls of breastfeeding and how mothers can overcome those first few days when starting to breasfeed, plus she also answers some of your questions you sent in to us as well. It was a great campaign this year and was fronted by Celebrity Mum Jenny Frost from Atomic Kitten. The aim of the campaign was to find a breast buddy, somebody who you can turn to from your circle of friends or family - who has either been through the process or is currently breastfeeding at the moment.
