At a time when many families are struggling financially the childcare voucher scheme may offer some much needed financial support to your monthly outgoings of rising childcare costs. More parents than ever are working which means their children are spending more time in nurseries or with childminders.

The Goverment has introduced a childcare voucher scheme but many people have been left confused by the system. Currently, in (2008) families can save up to £2,391 a year by using childcare vouchers, while employers save up to £373 a year per scheme member.
