In this interview we spoke to Rebecca Fuchs about parental internet software. She talks about how to set parental contols on your computer with parental filtering software.

Safe internet software has become a necessity for many parents now, plus according to a recent survey commissioned by You Gov more of us are worried about leaving our children in internet chat rooms than we are letting them play outdoors.

One in four children will go on to meet someone that they got talking to in a chat room or social networking site. The onslaught of that is sexual predators trying to get in touch with our children.

The profile of an online groomer is typically that they are married, have children, are middle-aged, they come from a professional background and have no previous convictions.

Mum-of-one Rebecca Fuchs set up Sentry Parental Controls to help parents keep an eye on what their children are looking at on the internet. In this interview she explained what parents are concerned about.
