It would seem the recession has not stopped people booking their holidays but many will not be travelling abroad this year, preferring to stay in the UK.
In this interview we spoke to Wendy Shand who runs Tots to Travel and is also a mum-of-two small children.
She said…“The big players would say [the holidays] are recession proof. I’m not seeing enormous cutback in people taking family holidays,” People ringfence their holidays because they are so precious. I think people are booking slightly more conservative holidays this year though.”
