Coedpoeth Village Fete (2010)

Coedpoeth Village Fete

On Saturday September 25th, it was the Coedpoeth Village Fete.

My Baby Radio and Teddy Tiger was kindly asked to take part in this year’s event with music and announcements provided by My Baby Radio.

Once again the fete was a huge hit with both locals and visitors alike. Luckily, it was a really sunny day, if not a little breezy.

On the day there was a mobile fair, street dancing, belly dancers, tug-of-war, dog show, fire engine and loads of lovely interesting stalls. Raffles and great prizes were provided by Cylch Meithrin, the local Scout Group, Coedpoeth Football Team and the Salvation Army to name but a few.

If you was there on the day, see if you can spot yourself in any of our pictures listed below.

Our very own Teddy Tiger was there on the day and met some cool kids whilst handing out his balloons and stickers. Teddy also took some requests for his (After School Disco Show 3-4pm each weekday).  Why not tune in this week to hear your favourite song.

On the day there was also the annual dog show with categories including most handsome dog/bitch, dog that looks most like it’s owner and many more great categories.

And finally, listed below is some of those interesting and lovely stalls that were present on the day, either raising funds for local charities, selling great produce or just showcasing their goods and services.

Coedpoeth is located just outside Wrexham on the way out to Ruthin and Corwen. Everybody had a great day out and is now looking forward to next year’s event. Special thanks to everyone that came along and everyone who took part in the day including the organisers at Plas Pentwyn, Katy, Tom and Jo. Well done guys!

See you next year!
