Dr Rob Hicks qualified at St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1989. He now works part-time as a GP and as a hospital clinical assistant in sexual health medicine.
His special interests are men’s, women’s, and children’s health, complementary therapies, nutrition, and health promotion.Dr Rob appears regularly on television and radio, has presented live radio shows, and has recorded video and interactive programmes.
He contributes regularly to Healthy, Men’s Fitness and Prima Baby magazines, and has also written for numerous other publications. Over the years he has written for most of the general practice professional publications on health, motoring and finance.
An editor and contributor to the BBC online health sites, Dr Rob is also the medical script adviser for the successful BBC drama series Doctors. He also gives many talks for consumer, professional and corporate audiences.
