Why celebs names are cool

Celebrities may not be as crazy as we think when it comes to calling their children strange names such as Princess Tiàamii or Peaches.

Katie Price and Peter Andre named their daughter Princess, and Peaches is the moniker given to one of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates’ girls.

Certain sounds in a name or links with royalty can make people seem more successful, lucky or attractive, according to psychologist Professor Richard Wiseman.

Six thousand people were questioned to determine what they thought about certain names.

• People called James and Elizabeth are seen as the most successful
• Jack and Lucy the luckiest and Sophie and Ryan the most attractive
• Lisa and Brian are the most likely to fail
• Helen and John are the unluckiest
• Ann and George are the least attractive
